FAQ

What’s the difference between an Interior Designer and an Interior Stylist?

Interior Designers tend to focus more on the ‘bones’ of a room and have more technical skills. They might work alongside architects and builders to make sure the room layout works and will often design a room from scratch. They might help you design a new kitchen or bathroom or suggest structural changes to your room.

On the other hand, Interior Stylists are more focused on the aesthetic of a room so won’t get involved in any structural changes. They’ll look at whether the colours in your room work, what soft furnishings or furniture are needed and will suggest home accessories to bring the room together. Hiring an Interior Stylist is often a more cost effective way to improve the look of your home and they’ll work with you to make sure your house reflects your taste and style so that it’s personal to you.
